Evening Work Party 28th June Postponed
The work party planned for tonight for sign posting at Cleeton has been postponed as John has been working with Steve on Walters Lane drainage today and will not finish until late.
New Route Opened Up
A work party met on 21st June to clear the route T on our map (cuts the corner from Stock Hall Lane to the Common road. The council had previously installed some lovely easy open gates all along this route but it has needed clearing in a one section. This is now cleared and is passable. Let us know how you get on with using the new route.
Reporting Problems

Paula has reported a problem with a padlocked gate (route of K) to council. Contact details for this were: Bridleway route number 0537-28-1. Paula spoke to Lucy in the support office and her direct number is 01743 255066 or you can report problems by email to outdoor.recreation@shropshire.gov.uk
Please report problems as the more people who contact the council the more likely they will do something.

Work Party Reminder 21st June
Work party Friday 21st June at 6:30 pm to open up route T opposite Nunnery Lane.
Meet at junction of Cleeton Road (where route X joins with route T).
Will need chainsaw, loppers, spades, strong gloves. Timber to be left for landowners use.

New Wider Gate Installed
Steve, John, Chris and Pete installed a new wicket gate at the top of Hill Houses to replace a narrow gate which was difficult to open and had a dangerous latch sticking out. It is now usable but we do need to build up the ground under the gate over the large stone.
