Work Party – Thur 8th August – Sat 10th August

John has arranged with Steve to do the digger work on the new permissive route joining the Jack Myton Way stating Thursday 8th August. It is anticipated this will take 3 days (Thursday ,Friday and Saturday).

Please come along and help sometime over these days if you can. Help needed will include shovelling gravel, clearing route, and putting in new sign posts. Give either John or Steve a ring to check on timings and what you need to bring.

New Route Opened Up

workpartyjune13A work party met on 21st June to clear the route T on our map (cuts the corner from Stock Hall Lane to the Common road. The council had previously installed some lovely easy open gates all along this route but it has needed clearing in a one section. This is now cleared and is passable. Let us know how you get on with using the new route.

Reporting Problems

Paula has reported a problem with a padlocked gate (route of K) to council. Contact details for this were: Bridleway route number 0537-28-1. Paula spoke to Lucy in the support office and her direct number is 01743 255066 or you can report problems by email to outdoor.recreation@shropshire.gov.uk

Please report problems as the more people who contact the council the more likely they will do something.
